Trilogies Website Accessibility Statement

Effective date: May 1, 2025

1. Our Commitment

Trilogies is committed to ensuring that our website is equally accessible to all users, including those with disabilities and the elderly. We adhere to the following standards to promote accessibility:

  • International standards: Conforms to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG 2.1) AA level.

  • Local regulations: Comply with the Hong Kong Disability Discrimination Ordinance (Cap. 487) and the Equal Opportunities Commission’s guidelines.

  • Design Principle: Prioritize accessibility during the design and development process and provide accessibility awareness training to employees on a regular basis.

2. Implemented Accessibility Features

To optimize user experience, this website has taken the following measures:

  1. Keyboard navigation:

    • All functions (such as forms and menus) can be accessed by pressing the Tab key without using a mouse.

    • Use the Esc key to quickly close pop-ups.

  2. Text and visual adjustments:

    • Supports browser native zoom function (Ctrl/Cmd + +/-).

    • Provides high contrast mode (click "Accessibility Tools" in the upper right corner to switch).

  3. Screen reader compatibility:

    • All images include alternative text (Alt Text).

    • Set ARIA labels (aria-label) for tables and forms.

  4. Multimedia assistance:

    • The video is available with Cantonese/English subtitles.

    • Audio content is synchronized with the text transcript.

3. Known limitations and improvement plans

We continue to optimize the accessibility experience. Currently known limitations include:

The old version of the product manual is in pure PDF format. It will gradually be converted to HTML format for users with cognitive impairments.

V. Technical Standards and Tools

  1. Testing method:

    • Automation tools: WAVE, axe DevTools.

    • Manual testing: Verification is performed by visually impaired and physically disabled users.

    • Testing frequency: Full audits every quarter, targeted testing after every major update.

  2. Browser compatibility:

    • We recommend using the latest version of Chrome, Firefox or Safari.

    • Some functions may be limited in older browsers such as IE11.

  3. Third-party content:

    • The accessibility of third-party content (such as advertisements and embedded tools) included on the website is the responsibility of the third party. We encourage third parties to provide accessible content and provide relevant guidance.

VI. Policy Update

This statement will be reviewed at least once a year, and major changes will be announced on the website announcement board 14 days in advance.

  • Provides accessibility APIs and developer tools to help create accessible applications.

  • Encourage developers to use accessible technologies and provide relevant training resources.
